OVERNIGHTS TO THE BAR-B
We take overnight trips to the Bar-B about once a week depending on guest wishes. It is about a 10 mile ride to the old Valhalla homestead, now owned by Barbie Van Cleve. You can take your choice of sleeping in the old lodge, on the porch, under a lean-to or just flat on the ground under the stars. The next morning Carol and Barbie work with the yearlings and two-year old colts, aided by those guests who want to help or learn how to "start" the youngsters. This is followed by a trip down to see the brood mares, Sam, and the new babies, before riding home to the Lazy K.
